Origin by Dan Brown

origin

In true Dan Brown fashion this story happens in 24 hours, Professor Langdon is at the center of a discovery that will change the world and he is therefore on the run. It is surprisingly slow and fast paced all at the same time because we do not find out the discovery until the end but events continue to unfold in a matter of minutes. The book takes you all over Spain and explores the art and architecture of the area. Although I could have easily read this in a day it took me three days because I kept researching every piece of art and every place visited in the story. This however is why I love Dan Brown’s books. It is my secret prayer that he continues to write many more books and that at least three people that read each book will spend the time looking at the art and architecture in them and growing in appreciation, knowledge and beauty with the help of his books.
