The Fixer: The Naked Man by Jill Amy Rosenblatt

Killing Kind

Katrina Mills is a student in New York City just trying to pay the rent and her Law School tuition.  Her parents don’t have the money, rent is due, and the $14,000 tuition payment is looming. Temping is not getting it done.  Katrina finds herself employed by an exclusive concierge service. And so begins a tangled story of intrigue as Katrina learns to network and live in the shadows, while going to school to be a lawyer.

Rosenblatt has written a solid suspense – thriller novel that will keep you guessing.  What will be Katrina’s next job? How in the world is she going to accomplish the assignments?  Can Katrina live with the results of her work and with the knowledge she gleans from her job? Katrina is not the next James Bond, she is too new to this work, but she is intelligent and fast thinking, making it enjoyable to read how she grows her skills and struggles to harden her heart while maintaining her values.  I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
