Talking to Dead Guys by Gretchen Rix

Talking to Dead Guys

From Lockhart, the barbecue town of Texas, comes a great murder mystery.  Indie Author Gretchen Rix combines life in a small town with all the kooky characters a small town produces, three dead bodies, and a mastiff dog named Boo Radley for a fun and mysterious read. The Sommers sisters are in their 50’s, both single but not spinsters. They are involved in various groups around town, one of which is the Lockhart Historical Society.  During the month of October, the Historical Society is having their annual fundraiser: a cemetery tour with historical reenactments. Opening night Olive Sommer discovers a dead body on the trail of the fundraising tour, and having been laid off recently, finds herself with time to help solve the crime.

I really enjoyed this book.  It is a fun read with lots of twists and turns, great characters, small town charm and possibly a serial killer set deep in the heart of Texas.
