Salvation Station by Kathryn Schleich

Salvation Station

Captain Linda Turner has solved many cases in the course of her career but this one covers more than one state, multiple cities, and several people.  She quickly becomes haunted by the gruesome discovery of three bodies buried in a local church parsonage. Sure, she has seen it all, but the dead bodies of two children under three, dressed in Disney pajamas, stay planted in her mind, motivating her to stop at nothing to find their killer.

Schleich’s first novel will impress and surprise you.  It is very well written, edgy, provocative and sometimes terrifying.  I read the book in literally one sitting, not being able to put it down.  I found myself turning each page in hopes of an end to the manipulating, soulless, killer.  This is an excellent read and one that will leave Schleich hard-pressed to outdo her first novel!
